About the role
We are now looking for a self-driven and committed Chief Accountant for Bactiguard who enjoys developing the function further with us. As a Chief Accountant, you are operational and have the overall responsibility for ensuring the accounting, group accounting, and developing the function.
You have personnel responsibility for two employees and report directly to the CFO. You have a key role in the company with the opportunity to continue developing systems, processes, and routines for the finance function. You work closely with the business operations and management and are responsible for the closing of accounts and annual reports. Furthermore, you lead and drive investigation issues in areas such as inventory, IC, VAT, tax, internal control, and accounting principles. As a Chief Accountant, you will work both strategically and closely with accounting. You have overall responsibility for accounting and drive the accounting and closing process. You establish, develop, and quality assure routines and processes within accounting and are involved in and have a driving role in various accounting-related projects. You will have a lot of contact with our subsidiaries worldwide and ensure and quality assure correct reporting for the group. The role includes daily contact with our subsidiaries globally. You lead and allocate work in the accounting function and consolidate for the group.
You are part of a Finance team of four people. Bactiguard's office is located in nice premises in central Stockholm.
The role includes:
Overall responsibility for accounting for Bactiguard and its subsidiaries (monthly, quarterly, and annual closing) with delivery security
Responsible for group reporting and group reconciliation with the subsidiaries (five legal entities)
Lead and allocate work in financial follow-up and analysis and coach employees
Prepare quarterly reports and annual reports for the group and reporting to the market together with the IR team
Tax calculations and tax and fee declarations
IFRS 9, 16, ESEF tagging
Liquidity forecasts and follow-up
Financial support to the operations
Ensure and actively and continuously take the lead in quality assurance, improving, and developing processes, routines, and internal controls
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with an academic education and several years of experience in qualified accounting from larger companies or groups with complex operations and experience in driving change, preferably from a listed company. You are used to conducting follow-up and analysis. You have a strong interest in systems and good Excel skills. You are fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience in group accounting is a strong merit. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and prefer you to be humble, structured, and have a willingness to change. Furthermore, you have a problem-solving approach and see contact with people as natural and positive. We also believe that you enjoy leading and developing employees. Previous experience in a leadership role is considered a merit.
