Senior Manager Programs & Portfolio

The purpose of introducing a Senior Manager for Program & Portfolio is to govern the global IT scope of Factory Projects. The Senior Manager for Programs & Portfolio drive initiatives to clarify and/or change business processes and ways of workings for IT when required to streamline our operation and support the long-term initiative to build a solid IT Blueprint for Northvolt and work together with the IT Leadership team for establishing a strategy and an operational model to apply for our Northvolt Factories. The Sr. Manager will manages a team of specialists working as Subject Matter Experts within their field as well.
There are multiple 3rd party contractors assigned for both the design and the installation scope of Northvolt Factories. It will be critical to provide all contracted parties, who works with IT, with accurate information in a timely manner and coordinate the high-level scope of IT deliverables with all Northvolt Business Partners and our internal Northvolt stakeholders. The Senior Manager of Programs & Portfolio will work will all the IT Program Managers in each country to secure quality, time and costs related to the IT scope of Factory programs.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the long-term initiative to strengthen and improve the IT Blueprint of Factory projects.
Manage a team of employees focusing on the global IT Blueprint
Build relationships towards dependent parties e.g. Northvolt central Blueprint team, Electrical Design teams, Program Managers at global sites (Ett, Drei, Six)
Support Process improvements and frameworks e.g. creation of estimates related to Factory IT Cost, IT Schedule, IT Requirements.
Resource allocation, assign IT resources to support early site and Factory program initiatives globally.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for Project structure and Project Reporting in Jira
Improve and govern the IT Project delivering model by detailing our ways of working with Factory Projects
Alignment & Knowledge sharing across Northvolt PMO´s (IPM PMO, New Factory PMO, Digi PMO)
Full time employment, fixed salary.

Qualifications/education/experience
Master of Science in Engineering or Management
10+ years of Program and or Project Management within the IT Sector
Project & Program Management Certifications
Fluent in English
Documentation capabilities
Specific skills
Experience of working with 3rd party contractors in major projects
Experience of working in a multi cultural environment
