About the job As the Direct Sales Director, your primary mission is to be strategic and tactically responsible for our Nordic Direct Sales. You will plan, develop, and implement the strategic direction, including segmentations and verticals.
You will manage the Direct Management Sales team and be an inspirational and inclusive leader. You aim to level up our Value-based sales processes and build and maintain solid and long-lasting relationships with partners and end customers.
Furthermore, you will understand, define, and drive regional product needs for our Product and Engineering department and other relevant internal stakeholders. This includes being the strategic voice for needs within, e.g., product development, pricing and packaging, and campaigns. Other important internal collaborations will be with Marketing and RevOps, where you will be a crucial player in defining and deploying regional go-to-market plans.
The role also includes responsibilities for:
Regional OPEX responsibility
Department budget and forecast, culture, leadership, and ensuring and enabling a high-performing department
Formulate and implement profitable growth-oriented revenue/sales plans and review performance against targets
About you To do well and have lots of fun in this role, you have a proven track record of commercial success within a B2B telecom, SaaS, or similar environment. You have strong market know-how and experience in leading leaders and high-performing commercial/sales teams.
Furthermore, it’s essential that you understand and are interested in the correlation between Sales - Market needs - Products , as well as be experienced in working with relevant metrics such as MRR, Contribution Margin and OPEX.
